MPs' business costs – claims for stab vests

In the last two calendar years how many stab vests have been provided by Ipsa to MPs or their staff?

No party details no nothing – I’m just looking for the total number of vests provided

Section 24 of the FOIA states:

(1) Information which does not fall within section 23(1) is exempt information if exemption from section 1(1)(b) is required for the purpose of safeguarding national security.

(2) The duty to confirm or deny does not arise if, or to the extent that, exemption from section 1(1)(a) is required for the purpose of safeguarding national security.

In response to your request, IPSA can neither confirm nor deny whether the information you have requested is held under section 24(2).
