Request for details of accommodation expenses MPs can claim

Could you please provide under the FOI act a list of accommodation expenses that MP’s can claim. For example an MP can claim £xxx per month for rent and £xxx per night for a hotel.

The information about what MPs can claim for accommodation expenses can be found in the latest edition of the Scheme of MPs’ Business Costs & Expenses, which is published on the IPSA website. This page also has copies of past schemes. As the information is reasonably accessible by other means, because it is on our website, the information is therefore subject a Refusal Notice under section 21 FOIA.
