MPs employment practices liability insurance

Request

How much has the House of Commons paid out to cover MPs under their employment practices liability insurance in each year from 2010 onwards? Can I clarify that my question refers to the amount IPSA paid out between 2010 and 2016 to cover employment practices liability, rather than the House of Commons?

Please note that section 43 of the FOIA concerning commercial sensitivity does not apply, as the request is for a single monetary amounts for each year in total paid, and provides no information on breakdown, discounts negotiated, or other trade secrets, or any additional cost structures as would appear in your contract with a third party supplier for insurance.

Response

IPSA does not provide Employers Liability Insurance to MPs, this is done by the House of Commons.

Details about how to make an FOI request to the House of Commons can be found on their website.
