Scottish parliamentary expense claims

Request

I would like to submit a request to find out the expenses for all Scottish SNP MSPs in the last year.

Response

By way of background, the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) was created by Parliament under the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 to independently oversee and regulate expenses for Members of the UK Parliament (MPs).

IPSA has two main roles: regulating the business costs and expenses system for MPs and administering and paying MPs’ expenses, pay and pensions.

We publish details of claims for business costs and expenses claimed by MPs on our publication website. You can use this site to search for details of claims.

IPSA does not hold information relating to expenses claims made by Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) or any other devolved legislatures. You may wish to visit the Scottish Parliament’s website for further information on MSPs’ expenses:

https://www.parliament.scot/msps/members-expenses-scheme.aspx

This concludes our response to your request.
