Angela Eagle's staffing arrangements

I would like to submit an information Subject Data Access Request.

I would be grateful if you could send me the details in relation to Angela Eagle, Wallasey MP.

Can you please let me know how many members of office staff both in Wallasey constituency and in Westminister that Angela Eagle has employed from the period 2007 - 2017.

I understand that you will have to redact names but I would like to know the numbers of staff that Angela employed and how long they where employed for.

For reference, under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, all individuals have a right to see a copy of the information an organisation holds about them (the 'subject access' rights). However, this access only relates to information we hold about you - it doesn't extend to obtaining information about other individuals. As such, your request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), which entitles individuals access to information held by a public authority.

Under the Scheme of MPs’ Business Costs and Expenses (‘the Scheme’), Staffing costs may be claimed by MPs to meet the cost of staff who support MPs in performing their parliamentary functions. In order for staff salaries to be paid, they must first be registered with IPSA. As such, IPSA holds information on staff members employed by MPs (and paid through IPSA’s payroll) since 2010. For reference, IPSA was established in May 2010 and does not hold any information relating to operations before that date.

Please find, in the table below, the number of individuals[1] employed by Angela Eagle MP in each financial year since IPSA was established.
