Under the freedom of information act, please provide me with details of MPs who have claimed for the services of Klibreck Consulting on expenses.

Please provide the name of the MP, the date the claim was made and the amount claimed.

Response

We undertook a test to estimate the amount of time it would take to manually locate, retrieve and extract this information from every claim line submitted under the ‘professional services’ and ‘pooled services’ categories since IPSA was established in May 2010. 

We estimate that it would take 177 hours of staff time which takes us considerably over the appropriate cost limit of £450 (part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Freedom of Information Act).  Consequently, IPSA is not obliged to respond to your request (see section 12(1), FOIA).
