Pay and pensions for MPs and Lords who have been jailed

Request

  1. The rules surrounding paying pensions to members of the House of Commons and House of Lords jailed for crimes.

  2. To ask whether any past or present member jailed has had their pension revoked.

  3. To ask whether former politicians -namely Jonathan Aitken, Jeffrey Archer, Lord Hanningfield, David Chaytor, Lord Taylor of Warwick, Elliot Morley, Jim Devine, Eric Illsley and Chris Huhne - are entitled to parliamentary pensions. Please breakdown you answer by individual.

  4. Please provide the respective value of the pension pot for each of the aforementioned individuals.

  5. To ask whether the individuals mentioned have waived their right to a parliamentary pension and/or do not collect it.
