The total of the IPSA staffing budget for 2012-2013
IPSA’s staffing budget, as approved by the Speaker’s Committee for IPSA (SCIPSA), in the 2012/2013 financial year was £3,069,000. This includes remuneration for IPSA’s Board, SCIPSA Lay Members, IPSA staff members and Compliance Staff.
The total of the IPSA staffing budget for 2013-2014;
IPSA’s draft budget for 2013/14 is currently under consideration by the SCIPSA and is expected to be confirmed in June 2013. The proposed IPSA staffing budget for 2013/14 is 2,799,000. As with the 2012/13 budget, this includes remuneration for IPSA’s Board, SCIPSA Lay Members, IPSA staff members and Compliance Staff.
How many staff employed by IPSA will receive a salary increase for the financial year 2013-2014
IPSA has operated a pay freeze during the last two financial years, in line with the public sector pay freeze. Again in line with the public sector, IPSA staff will, for the 2013/14 financial year, receive a salary increase of 1 per cent. This 1 per cent increase does not apply to seconded staff, as their pay is set by their home departments. There are no plans to change the rate of pay for IPSA’s Board, which is set separately.
How many of those increases (if any) will exceed 1% of the salary
No salary increases will exceed 1 per cent.
