Details of business costs and expenses claimed by Sinn Fein MPs

Under an FOI request could I ask what the totals claimed for on expenses for each of the above party members over the last 3 years.

Response

IPSA holds the information that you request relating to the time period May 2010 onwards, which is when IPSA’s operations began.  We do not hold the information that you request prior to that date.  You may wish to contact the House of Commons FOI team for this information, via this email address: foicommons@parliament.uk.

All claims for expenses made by MPs, including any made by MPs belonging to the Sinn Féin political party are published on our website.  You may wish to visit the House of Commons website, which provides a helpful list of MPs that may be filtered by political party.

The FOIA states that information that is accessible by other means is not subject to release.  Therefore, as the information you have requested is already available on our website it is exempt from disclosure under section 21 of the FOIA (information accessible to applicant by other means).
